Pomegranate Lemonade

Gulp, Gulp, Gulp

Aahhhh....

Don't y'all just love a good lemonade in the summer time? Last year I made a really tasty Blueberry Lemonade that was a huge hit. This year I decided to get a little fancy with my lemonade so I created this Pomegranate Lemonade! I used Hansen's Pomegranate soda and reduced it down to make a kind of soda-syrup. This flavors and sweetens the lemonade. Hansen's is made with natural cane sugar, no high-fructose corn syrup here!

*Confession- this lemonade is only pink because of 1 drop of red food coloring. Without the food coloring, it looks like regular old lemony lemonade. Womp Womp.

This lemonade is super easy, easy on the summer piggy bank, and is sure to be a crowdpleaser!

Just a little fresh squeezed lemon juice....

Plus two cans of Pomegranate Soda reduced down...

Don't forget the lemon slices for garnish!

Serve with fresh blueberries for a refreshing summery snack!

Cheers Y'all!

Pomegranate Lemonade

3/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
2 cans of Pomegrante Soda - Like Hansen's Pomegranate Soda
4 cups of water
1 drop red food coloring
1 Tbs sugar

Pour two cans of soda in a medium saucepan and simmer for about 15 minutes or until it's reduced to about 1.5 cups.
Add 1 drop red food coloring to reduced soda and allow to cool.
When reduced soda is cool, combine it with lemon juice, water, and sugar in a pitcher or large jug. Serve cold.
