Motivation Monday

It's Monday! Monday! Gotta get down on Monday!

Today is my first post for Motivation Monday! Monday's always get a bad rap; the weekends are always too short and the work week is always too long! But this Monday I wanted to get you pumped up for the week ahead!

It's back to school time! This week all of the teachers are back for my district and then we see all of our little cherub's faces next Monday!

Back to school time always makes me think of going back to basics. We make New Year's Resolutions, so why can't we make School Year Resolutions!? This school year, I encourage all of you to get on track with your eating habits and your exercise/workout routines. Even though the start of school means summer is over, doesnt mean that you can't being a healthy transformation NOW!
You Can Do It!

I also want to challenge you to pack a sack lunch every work day for a whole month. I am taking part in this challenge, created by the Food Network's Healthy Eats Blog it's called the Brown Bag Challenge. I have committed myself to this challenge and will be blogging about what I am taking for lunch and why I feel good about it. It starts in September, so there's still plenty of time to stock your fridge and pantry with figure friendly foods!

Are you pumped, yet!? I encourage you to clock out this afternoon and get your body moving! Go for a run, walk your dogs, try a new class at your gym or hop on your bike! Then cook up a slim and trim dinner of chicken breast or salmon and lots of fresh veggies and have some fresh fruit for dessert! Remember, what we put in our bodies is what we get out of our bodies- what better day to being than today!?

  1. Susan, this is such a great post! It's so easy to get into a rut at work and just want to sit in your desk all day (except to leave and get McDonald's!). I personally love to pack my lunch and eat it while I'm working, so then I can spend my entire lunch hour walking around downtown. I love it that you're promoting this!
